Steve Bloom, MPH, MBA

Steve Bloom, MPH, MBA, is principal and founder of SB Health Advisory, where he advises health care companies and investors on the business implications of CMS payment policy. Previously, Mr Bloom served as senior advisor for CMS strategy within the CMS Alliance to Modernize Healthcare, a federally funded research and development center, where he led and oversaw projects spanning Medicare and Medicaid payment model design, analytics, and government adoption of AI-enabled capabilities for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Innovation. Earlier in his career, he managed value-based care consulting engagements at Optum Advisory and Nordic Consulting and served as a health care legislative assistant in the United States Senate during development and passage of the Affordable Care Act.
