Although technology is becoming an increasingly important tool in healthcare, it should not be used with the intent to replace human care and relationships, explained Trishan Panch, MBBS, MP, chief medical officer of Wellframe.
“Technology is often thought of as way of automating and replacing human resources and I think that’s fundamentally wrong,” he said.
Dr Panch added that technology should work in conjunction with therapeutic relationships, as it can deliver the care patients need and want at higher frequencies.
