An article by the website of the American Pharmacists Association referenced a study published in the April 2010 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®) titled “Pharmacist Collaborative Management of Poorly Controlled Diabetes Mellitus: A Randomized Controlled Trial.” The study found that pharmacist management of poorly controlled diabetes resulted in more patients decreasing their glycated hemoglobin levels by at least 1%.
A piece by benefitnews.com cited an article published on AJMC.com, the website of AJMC®. The article, “Racial Disparities Persist in Maternal Morbidity, Mortality and Infant Health,” indicated that American women die in childbirth at a higher rate than in any other developed country, with non-Hispanic Black women found to be more than 3 times more likely to have a maternal death than White women in the United States. The article was also spotlighted by WDAM 7.
