One involves what the patient should do to prevent recurrence, the second is what the patient has left during recovery, and finally how does the patient carry on with the life he or she had before diagnosis.
“So each of those has individual components that need to be addressed by the oncology community and then sort of a holistic approach is necessary because all 3 of those components are very important to an individual survivor,” Dr Denlinger explained.
